We have extended our reach to Germany, Austria and Sub-Saharan Africa
We have today announced that we are expanding our distribution agreement with Vectra, the world leader in applying artificial intelligence (AI) to detect and respond to cyberattacks in cloud, data centre and enterprise infrastructures in real time. The agreement, which was originally focused on the Benelux region, will now include Germany, Austria and Sub-Saharan Africa as distribution territories.
The renewed partnership presents an opportunity to reinforce our CyberSOC and Cloud security pillars in new regions with the AI-driven Cognito® network detection and response (NDR) platform from Vectra, designed to identify cyberattacker behaviours and enable security analysts to conduct incident investigations and hunt for hidden threats using security-enriched metadata.
Daniel Hurel, VP Westcon EMEA – Cyber Security & Next Gen Solutions at Westcon says: “Vectra’s unique approach to capturing cloud and network metadata at scale and enriching it with machine learning-derived security information has become key to achieve more effective and efficient security operations. It also empowers security analysts to perform conclusive incident investigations and AI-assisted threat hunting while at the same time integrating with a wide range of best-in-class security solutions.”
Willem Hendrickx, VP International Sales at Vectra concludes: “AI-driven threat detection is now the cornerstone of any effective cyber-defence strategy where organisations want to reduce business risk and proactively hunt down cyberattackers. With the support of a leading channel distributor such as Westcon, we are confident our Cognito NDR platform will reach a wide range of businesses and help them see and stop threats before they become breaches.”
