Snom Technology GmbH, premium manufacturer of IP telephony solutions, announces its cooperation with the South African ICT specialist MiRO. With this agreement, MiRO’s expertise in VoIP will meet Snom’s trusted IP desk and conference phones, DECT products and VoIP solutions. This cooperation will deliver the next level of VoIP telephony to users in South Africa and in the larger African region.
Snom and MiRO share a long history together. After parting ways for a period of time, the companies’ management teams met again during a recent visit to South Africa by Snom’s executive management. Immediately following the local Snom Partner Event in Pretoria, CEO Gernot Sagl and the MiRO HQ team joined together and decided to build on the strong foundation of their partnership, and rekindle their old friendship with a new alliance.
Just a few months after this decision was made, MiRO’s team has already started supporting its South African clients with custom-made solutions using Snom’s high quality VoiP products.
Ted de Boer, MiRO Product Manager, states: “Being a pioneer of IP telephony and now the leader in its segment in the European market says a lot about Snom. We’re delighted to work together with Snom and our customers will appreciate us adding such a creative and innovative brand to our portfolio. We’ve been especially struck by Snom’s strong focus on customer requirements, enabling us to find unique solutions for any challenge.”
Gernot Sagl, CEO of Snom Technology GmbH, adds: “Ever since we’ve been in South Africa, we’ve seen the growth of the VoIP market there. In this segment, MiRO is one of the leading specialists of the region and we feel extremely confident working with them. We’re also very satisfied with the quick implementation of the cooperation with MiRO.”
