To succeed, IT and business leaders must ensure reliable and secure access to applications that enable distributed workgroups to communicate and collaborate, regardless of work location. Even with the rapid rise in adoption of video-based meeting apps, phone systems are still a critical part of the communications suite and must be secured and optimized. Business and IT decision-makers must adopt and maintain an effective strategy to support employee communications and collaboration needs.
Specifically, they should:

- Adopt specialty tools that deliver insight into application performance and that allow IT managers to rapidly address (and prevent) performance-related issues that negatively impact productivity and business operations
