BitCo Telecoms Data Centres

BitCo Telecoms – within Teraco – provides clients with the greatest connectivity and interconnection choice on the continent.

Data centres are the critical plumbing of the digital economy, funnelling the data of the modern economy between consumers, companies, governments, and the world. Removing all the concerns of managing a data centre infrastructure, thus giving you the time to focus on the technology that takes your company to a higher level. This only works if you get the colocation services that you need.

The data centres are built in strategic locations across South Africa in order to take advantage of the key commercial, utility power, transport and telecommunications infrastructure hubs available.  Guarantee client focussed, innovate design and consistent operational excellence across our footprint, allowing you to easily scale your services in terms of interconnection, power and space.

Completely flexible and scalable data centre services provide you with choice and the foundation upon which you can build your digital strategy and expand your business. Data centres are interconnected gateways to emerging African markets and all major continental subsea cables.

Our data centres are located at:

JOHANNESBURG – ISANDO / BREDELL – Strategically located in Ekurhuleni, the Johannesburg Metropol’s trade and industry hub, the Isando Campus is strategically positioned to serve the local and African market as the interconnection hub for cloud, content and connectivity. This campus provides the cloud onramp for Amazon, Google and Microsoft’s Azure.

CAPE TOWN – RONDEBOSCH – Located in the commercial heart of Rondebosch, the first vendor neutral colocation facility, CT1, set the benchmark for service delivery and the guaranteed 99.999% uptime environment design methodology employed by Teraco in all its subsequent facilities.

DURBAN – RIVERHORSE VALLEY – DB1, is a data centre facility in Durban catering to South Africa’s colocation, interconnection, peering and data centre infrastructure requirements.

There are plans to expand the data centre facility in Cape Town and build a new data centre in Gauteng.
