Wired audio accessories thumb screw into Sonim’s SecureAudio Connector to physically secure the accessory to the Sonim XP8 handset. Sonim’s approach ensures the most reliable connectivity, as the accessory can’t be accidentally disconnected like with a standard 3.5mm jack. Sonim’s SecureAudio interface also provides power to audio accessories, so users don’t need to worry about powering phones and accessories.

With Sonim, users simply need to power the XP8! This allows Klein Electronics headsets and speaker microphones to provide louder audio quality with XP8, than with other smartphones.
