With world events being what they are at the moment, getting together online is more important than ever. I’m excited to be doing my first talk in virtual reality.
TGI Teams is a new virtual community set in an alternate reality that is accessible to everyone. Meet-ups are hosted on an alternate reality platform called AltSpace.
You do not have to be a VR expert or own any VR equipment to join. Using your PC you can join in 2D mode and communicate in the same way as others. If we encourage you to explore VR, then you can join using all in one headgear such as the Oculus Go.
TGI Teams is run as a collaborative project between the organizers of two independent Microsoft Teams Conferences, Comms vNext and Commsverse who have a wealth of experience in both the Microsoft Teams and building communities.
Here is a quick tutorial on how to join the TGITeams event on AltSpaceVR: https://www.tgitea.ms/joining-a-tgiteams-event/
