Origin-based pricing for European destinations
Origin-based pricing differentiates call costs to a given destination based on where each call originates. For example, a call to Malta costs EUR 0.10 / min when made from a Belgian number and EUR 0.30 / min when made from a US number. You can now charge wholesale customers differently for calls originating inside or outside the European Economic Area (EEA), using separate rates for each EEA destination in a tariff. PortaBilling checks what country a call originated from and applies the corresponding rate. Such flexible pricing helps you avoid lost revenue when working with European carriers who already use origin-based pricing.
