The QXE1T1 gateway features 30 channels for E1 or 24 channels for T1 and conforms to a broad variety of voice codecs and signaling protocols.
It includes call routing and auto attendant capabilities, voice prioritization over data and sophisticated firewall and security elements. The main function of this gateway is primarily to bridge traditional legacy PBX traffic to SIP trunks, extending the life of these systems. It also allows for PRI connectivity of the QX PBX to legacy trunks.
The Hosted Survivability feature, when activated, will allow your company’s telephones to work, even when the broadband link or Hosted PBX is down. Users can also use this feature to provide access to remote phones in a branch office.
