Cavell Group’s newly published research on the European Cloud Communications market shows continued growth in the last year, reaching a total of over 13.6m users across the UK, Benelux, France, Iberia, Italy, and the DACH region. Most of this growth is from established more developed markets such as the UK, Germany and Netherlands, however, Cavell’s report reveals different stages of cloud adoption across these top performing markets.
The UK, Netherlands, Germany and France are the key territories in Europe with 73% of the total users combined based in these countries. Of these four, the UK is the largest market with over 4.3m users deployed.
Cavell is seeing strong growth across the board with a few interesting providers emerging in each market to challenge the incumbent provider. Increased M&A activity in the past few months also indicates that the market is consolidating as it matures further.
There have also been large shifts in the supply chain caused by numerous factors, leading to disruption across the market. This impact is different in each market as market maturity, product benchmarks and growth drivers change in each market.
