Herotel expands its customer base in the North-West Province
01 February 2021: Herotel is proud to announce that it has concluded an agreement with MCE to absorb their customer base into the Herotel family. All customers will be migrated by 31 March 2021 and Herotel Truecom will take over all customer support on the same day.

Some MCE customers may not have known that they have always been linked to Herotel Truecom. MCE has, since inception, made use of the Herotel Lichtenburg fibre and wireless network to connect its customers. The biggest change now is that MCE customers will get their Internet service directly from Herotel.
As of 31 March 2021 MCE will no longer sell internet or networking services, but will continue providing IT and voice related ICT services in the area.
