Apex Legends will be available on mobile platforms in future, Softpedia News reports.
Electronic Arts COO Blake Jorgensen reportedly made the announcement during an earnings call, adding that Apex Legends would also be launched in China.
“We are in advanced negotiations to bring Apex Legends to China and to mobile, and we will update you on time frames when those negotiations are concluded,” said Jorgensen.
Jorgensen also announced that Apex Legends will soon be self-published in Korea.
“The game offers an opportunity for us to build a direct connection with our players there, and we hope to be able to leverage this for other games,” said Jorgensen.
Apex Legends is EA’s fastest-growing game, and reached 50 million players within its first month. In comparison, Epic Games’ Fortnite took four months to reach 40 million players.
