In this update, we’re making it even easier to schedule a conference from the iOS app! In seconds you can create a conference, add participants, and add the event to your device’s calendar from the palm of your hand. Call recovery during unsteady connection has also had a boost for a more consistent call experience.
Improved handling of connection loss
With intelligent call reconnection, connection loss is better handled from the app-side on established calls. Furthermore, if call quality remains significantly low, the app will drop the call and automatically redial to establish a new, stronger connection. Further improvements are coming in V18 so stay tuned!
Quick & easy conference scheduling
We’ve integrated iOS calendars to make conference scheduling easier. When creating a new conference, enter the details and tap “Save”. A new calendar event will be automatically created and saved to your calendar of choice. If you choose to disable “Add to Calendar”, you will be prompted to send an optional email invitation with an attached .ics file. Participants should simply open the file to manually add the meeting to their calendar.
Other fixes & improvements
- “Play busy tone” is set ON by default.
- Added support for sending log reports.
- Improved Copy/Paste operation on the dialer.
